"A 501c3 cannot participate in the political process

To whit:

Express Powers that Cause Failure of Organizational Test
Directly or indirectly to participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office (Reg. 1.501(c)(3)–1 (b)(3)(ii));

This is a clear violation of their ability as a 501c3

Interesting.  You'd think their legal counsel would  have advised them against doing this.
